Save Our Mangroves Now
We created a short animation to highlight the vital role mangroves play in restoring biodiversity and supporting livelihoods. Launched on World Mangrove Day, 26 July 2021, this animation introduced the Roots of Hope campaign, an initiative by Save Our Mangroves Now! in partnership with WWF, Wetlands International, and IUCN.
Designed to engage diverse audiences—from policymakers and conservation leaders to global finance ministers—the animation was crafted to inspire action and drive awareness. It was featured alongside other campaign assets during key events, including COP26 and the UN CBD COP, and shared widely across partner channels to amplify its impact.
The animation was made to spread awareness of the importance of mangroves and how valuable they are to people, wildlife and the planet.
